Allari Naresh the comedy hero hit a bad patch with all his films failing one after the other. He then took a break from films and has returned with “Meda Meeda Abbayi”. The unit has just released the teaser of the film.
The title of the film “Meda Meeda Abbayi” itself suggests that the film is going to be an out and out comedy – a genre in which the hero Allari Naresh excels. It is the Telugu version of the super hit Malayalam film “Oru Vadakkan Selfie”. Prajith G who directed the original Malayalam version is wielding the megaphone for the Telugu version too. Even as it went on the floors the film earned the attention of the trade and the first look-poster only enhanced their curiosity and interest on the project. The teaser has raised the hype even higher.
In the film the hero is an aspiring film director. The film is all about his struggles to make a name for himself. He lives on the terrace of a house hence the name of the film. The teaser gives enough evidence that the hero has given a wonderful performance. The heroine Nikhila appears very pretty and simple. With the Allari Naresh brand of humour in full display and excellent music by debutant Music Director Shan Rahman it appears the hero has a hit on his hands at last.
The highlight of the teaser comes when towards the end the hero in a voice over says “I wonder what RGV will say after seeing this teaser!” We certainly are in for a good wholesome comedy from Allari Naresh soon.
