“Raja the Great” hit the screens with a bang and garnered positive responses from the audiences all over. The film saw the Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja back on the silver screen after two years. The positive response gave it good opening collections.
The film capitalized on a long weekend to bring in tremendous collections in the first weekend. Thereafter during the first week also the film kept up the speed and brought in good money. The second weekend was fairly good but after that it slowed down. That slow down was thanks to other new releases attracting the attention of the audiences. In fact the film had been removed from many halls too. That left the buyers worried about breaking even. But the hero allayed all their fears by taking them all into the safe zone as the film continued its run. The buyers in the Telugu states got back more than the money they invested. However, the distributors in the overseas markets are yet to reach break-even. That is the fate of the distributors in the rest of India too. They are not too far behind but may have to face some losses.
The film has collected a total of Rs.31.05 crores worldwide in shares. Out of this Rs.27.50 crores has come from the Telugu states alone. Check out how much the film has collected in different areas.
