There is a character of a head constable in the film which the director had offered to Narayanamurthy.
However, the actor had politely turned down the offer. Currently his next film “Head Constable Venkatramayya” is all set to hit the screens during the coming Sankranti festival. It has Jayasudha acting as his wife. Speaking about his next venture the topic turned to his refusal to act in “Temper”. The actor explained that he had great regard for Puri and that the admiration was mutual. Despite this he turned down the film because he wishes to act only in films which had him in the lead, whoever be the director.
